Training Center Director

Location: Third Coast Comedy Club, Nashville, TN.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Training Center Director to manage the operations of our training center. The ideal candidate will oversee a wide range of responsibilities, from curriculum development to teacher management, while ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for all students. This is a part-time role ideal for an individual with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills who can manage a learning environment focused on professional development and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Center Schedule Administration: Create and maintain the annual schedule for training center classes, including five (5) sessions each year.
- Curriculum Oversight & Development: Ensure curriculum standards are upheld, revise current courses and course flow, and develop new courses
- Develop Custom-Tailored Curriculums: Design and implement custom courses (such as Continuing Legal Education – CLE) to meet the unique needs of students and external partners.
- Teacher Management:
- Hire, train, onboard, and schedule instructors for various courses.
- Conduct regular instructor audits to maintain teaching quality.
- Teacher Professional Development: Produce at least two (2) professional development sessions annually for instructors and staff.
- Student Administration:
- Manage student waitlists, notification lists, and course rosters.
- Oversee payment plans and scholarship opportunities for students.
- Maintain the student database for accurate and up-to-date records.
- Student Experience: Facilitate a positive and enriching learning experience by ensuring classes run smoothly, student concerns are addressed promptly, and the curriculum is both engaging and educational.
- Student Issues:
- Act as the primary point of contact for student concerns and inquiries.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during courses of study.
- Events Administration: Oversee student-related events such as jams, showcases, and other community-building activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in education administration, training center management, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in curriculum development and teacher management preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to produce and facilitate professional development programs.
- Proficiency in student administration systems and databases is a plus.

Marketing & Community Events Manager

About the Role:Ā
We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Community Events Manager to lead our marketing efforts and community engagement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing visual content, social media, website updates, and public relations, as well as fostering relationships with community partners and businesses. This part-time role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing, design, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Community Engagement:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Spearhead social media giveaways with community and business partners.
- Maintain the graphic design folder and organize marketing assets.
- Coordinate and attend networking events like MCCA and NVC when applicable.
- Engage with the community, festivals, and businesses to foster partnerships, including āstreet teams.ā
- Update content on televisions across various areas.
- Facilitate donation requests and manage promo code distribution for events and promotions.
- Content Creation & Graphics:
- Oversee the creation of engaging motion graphics for marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the design visuals for both online and print content as needed.
- Social Media & Photography:
- Create and schedule social media posts for shows and events.
- Collect and curate photos and videos of shows for marketing purposes.
- Moderate relevant Facebook groups.
- Interview, hire, and supervise potential marketing interns.
- Email Marketing:
- Draft and send email newsletters with a consistent and scheduled frequency.
- Analytics, SEO & Website Management:
- Analyze ticketing trends and share insights with the Artistic Director for strategic decision-making.
- Update and integrate SEO tools to optimize online presence.
- Manage website content, including updating homepage sliders and other key areas.
- Public Relations:
- Handle press releases and media requests to ensure positive public relations.Ā Ā
- Maintain a positive relationship with local media outlets.
- Purchases & Budget Management:
- Order and document all marketing purchases, ensuring they are within budget.

Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing, graphic design, and/or community engagement.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and motion graphics tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SEO practices and email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and creatively.
- Experience in community event coordination and public relations is a plus.
